Modern day Mothers!
The biggest threat to motherhood today is men who want to be rulers, and the boss over a woman's body. From the Elder of the Old Church of God of the New Covenant.- [LINK] We do get a lot of flack from men because we TEACH WHAT THE bIBLE SAYS ABOUT WOMEN. gOD ALREADY TELLS US ALL THAT hE IS PRO=cHOICES AND PRO=liFE He does not place men as a God over a woman's body. He also saYS WHATEVER EACH ONE OF US DOES IS WHAT WE ARE TO REPENT OF, AND MEN CAN’T REPENT FOR ANYONE BUT THEMSELVES. In our day and time this type of mom, that God says they are to be, is a very unusual person. The modern day clergy has stopped all women from doing what God told them to do in a world where men called the clergy are taking the moms of this world out of doing what God told them to be. Men want to be boss over everything women do. God never once told men to take over the woman's walk in this human life. Men forget this—Proverbs 31:28–29. Women already know that God told men to leave an inheritance to their children, byt the clergy has turned men into something else in this world. Men forget that they cannot do this for the children. 1 Timothy 5:5-8 is what God told the men to do in our world first. But to do this men would have to give up the power the clergy has over the salvation God gives for free, and the new covenant where all of the human race is set free from a Lordship in a man. God says it this way. That it is a woman who can and should do this! Isaiah 66:13: "As one whom his mother comforts, so I will comfort you." Isaiah 49:15: "Can a mother forget her nursing child? Can she feel no love for the child she has borne? " Proverbs 31:25: "She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come." Proverbs 31:26: "She opens her mouth with wisdom, and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue." Proverbs 31:28–29: "Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: 'Many women have done excellently, but you surpass them all.'" Deuteronomy 6:6–7: "And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise." Proverbs 31:31: "Honor her for all that her hands have done, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate." Psalm 139:13-14: "For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well." Genesis 3:20: "The man called his wife’s name Eve, because she was the mother of all living." 1 Peter 3:4: "You should be known for the beauty that comes from within, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is so precious to God." Deuteronomy 4:9: "Only be careful, and watch yourselves closely so that you do not forget the things your eyes have seen or let them fade from your heart as long as you live. Teach them to your children and to their children after them." Luke 2:51: "And his mother treasured up all these things in her heart." Love only from what God has given us through a mother. 1 Corinthians 13:4-7: "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres." 1 Corinthians 13:13: "And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love." John 15:12: "This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you." 1 John 4:19: "We love because he first loved us." Romans 13:8: “Owe no one anything, except to love each other, for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law." 1 John 4:12: "No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us." Psalm 143:8: "Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for you I entrust my life." John 15:13: "Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends." Galatians 5:22-23: "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law." Romans 12:9-10: "Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honor one another above yourselves." 1 Corinthians 16:14: “Do everything in love." Family as God calls for it to be. Exodus 20:12: "Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the Lord your God is giving you." Psalm 127:3: "Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward." 1 Timothy 5:8: "Anyone who does not provide for their relatives, and especially for their own household, has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever." Ephesians 4:32: "Be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you." Proverbs 1:8-9: "Listen, my son, to your father’s instruction and do not forsake your mother’s teaching. They are a garland to grace your head and a chain to adorn your neck." Proverbs 22:6: "Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it." Proverbs 23:22-25: "Listen to your father who gave you life, and do not despise your mother when she is old. Buy truth, and do not sell it; buy wisdom, instruction, and understanding. The father of the righteous will greatly rejoice; he who fathers a wise son will be glad in him. Let your father and mother be glad; let her who bore you rejoice." Acts 16:31: “They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household.” Psalm 133:1: "How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity! " 3 John 1:4: "I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth." Colossians 3:13: "Bear with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgive each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive." Though each day ought to be used to hail the sacrifices, achievements, and greatness of moms across the world, Mothers day provides everybody a diffused possibility to thank you mom, cost their contributions, wreck them, pamper them, and the maximum essential of all, recognize moms. The bond a mom stocks together along with his toddler is so unique and magical that even god places the whole lot simply to come to be the witness of the mom-toddler-loving moments. The MODEL MOM has already been given to this world. In the Scriptures we are told this. We should begin here with what God told us is a good mom. - Titus 2:3-5 teaches that older women are to be good teachers and models for younger women. Mary, the mother of our Lord, was not perfect or sinless, but she was a good example of sound parenting for moms and dads alike. Consider: Mery had a say. Mery Had a choice. Even God gave Her a choice. 1. HER CHARACTER Highly Favored, or "Full of Grace" - She was a young woman. Luke 1:26-28 2. HER COURAGE 1:30-38 She accepted what the angel had to say, realizing she would be falsely accused of immorality. But place her trust in God. 3. HER CONTEMPLATION Luke 2:19, 51 Mary meditated on what was said about and by her son. She attempted to understand. Understanding is something all our children need it. 4. HER CONFIDENCE John 2:1-11 Mary believed in her son. See Vs. 5 5. HER COMMITMENT John 19:25 Mary stayed committed to her son right up to the cross! All mothers know this and want to live like God told them they could. Until next time The Elder. When we teach this we also live this now as humans and do reach to all mothers to live like this before heaven. HOLY BIBLEn IS THE TRUTH TO US. The Holy Bible, and only the Bible, is the authoritative Word of God. It alone is the final authority in determining all doctrinal truths. In its original writing, it is inspired, infallible and inerrant (II Timothy 3:16; II Peter 1:20-21; Proverbs 30:5; Romans 16:25-26). THE TRINITY IS VERY REAL. There is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. These three are coequal and co-eternal (I John 5:7; Genesis 1:26; Matthew 3:16-17, 28:19; Luke 1:35; Isaiah 9:6; Hebrews 3:7-11). JESUS CHRIST IS THE SAVIOR. Jesus Christ is God the Son, the second person of the Trinity. On earth, Jesus was 100% God and 100% man. He is the only man ever to have lived a sinless life. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, performed miracles, died on the cross for mankind and thus, atoned for our sins through the shedding of His blood. He rose from the dead on the third day according to the Scriptures, ascended to the right hand of the Father, and will return again in power and glory. (John 1:1, 14, 20:28; I Timothy 3:16; Isaiah 9:6; Philippians 2:5-6; I Timothy 2:5). VIRGIN BIRTH, HE DID COME AS A HUMAN IN THE FLESH. Jesus Christ was conceived by God the Father, through the Holy Spirit (the third person of the Trinity) in the virgin Mary's womb; therefore, He is the Son of God (Matthew 1:18, 25; Luke 1:35; Isaiah 7:14; Luke 1:27-35). REDEMPTION Has already come to this world as Luke 2:1-22 TELLS US GOD SENT IT IN HIS SON. Man was created good and upright, but by voluntary transgression he fell; his only hope of redemption is in Jesus Christ, the Son of God (Gen. 1:26-31, 3:1-7; Romans 5:12-21). REGENERATION For anyone to know God, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential (John 6:44, 65; Matthew 19:28; Titus 3:5). SALVATION will be COMPLETED AT THE END OF THIS HUMAN TIME ON EARTH>. We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ: His death, burial, and resurrection. Salvation is a gift from God, not a result of our good works or of any human efforts (Ephesians 2:8-9; Galatians 2:16, 3:8; Titus 3:5; Romans 10:9-10; Acts 16:31; Hebrews 9:22). REPENTANCE AS LONG AS WE ARE A HUMAN. Repentance is the commitment to turn away from sin in every area of our lives and to follow Christ, which allows us to receive His redemption and to be regenerated by the Holy Spirit. Thus, through repentance we receive forgiveness of sins and appropriate salvation (Acts 2:21, 3:19; I John 1:9). SANCTIFICATION IS WHERE WE KNOW WE WERE FORGIVEN FOR OUR SINS. Sanctification is the ongoing process of yielding to God’s Word and His Spirit in order to complete the development of Christ's character in us. It is through the present ministry of the Holy Spirit and the Word of God that the Christian is enabled to live a Godly life (I Thessalonians 4:3, 5:23; II Corinthians 3:18, 6:14-18, II Thessalonians 2:1-3, Romans 8:29, 12:1-2, Hebrews 2:11). JESUS' BLOOD The Blood that Jesus Christ shed on the Cross of Calvary was sinless and is 100% sufficient to cleanse mankind of all sin. Jesus allowed Himself to be punished for both our sinfulness and our sins, enabling all those who believe to be free from the penalty of sin, which is death (I John 1:7; Revelation 1:5, 5:9; Colossians 1:20; Romans 3:10-12, 23, 5:9; John 1:29). JESUS CHRIST INDWELLS ALL BELIEVERS Christians are people who have invited the Lord Jesus Christ to come and live inside them by His Holy Spirit. They relinquish the authority of their lives over to him thus making Jesus the Lord of their life as well as Savior. They put their trust in what Jesus accomplished for them when He died, was buried, and rose again from the dead (John 1:12; John 14:17, 23; John 15:4; Romans 8:11; Revelation 3:20). BAPTISM IN THE HOLY SPIRIT Given at Pentecost, it is the promise of the Father, sent by Jesus after His Ascension, to empower the Church to preach the Gospel throughout the whole earth (Joel 2:28-29; Matthew 3:11; Mark 16:17; Acts 1:5, 2:1-4, 17, 38-39, 8:14-17, 10:38, 44-47, 11:15-17, 19:1-6). THE GIFTS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT The Holy Spirit is manifested through a variety of spiritual gifts to build and sanctify the church, demonstrate the validity of the resurrection, and confirm the power of the Gospel. The Bible’s lists of these gifts are not necessarily exhaustive, and the gifts may occur in various combinations. All believers are commanded to earnestly desire the manifestation of the gifts in their lives. These gifts always operate in harmony with the Scriptures and should never be used in violation of Biblical parameters. (Hebrews 2:4; Romans 1:11, 12 :4-8; Ephesians 4:16; I Timothy 4:14; II Timothy 1:6-7; I Corinthians 12:1-31, 14:1-40; I Peter 4:10). THE CHURCH The church is the Body of Christ, the habitation of God through the Spirit, with divine appointments for the fulfillment of Jesus' Great Commission. Every person who is born of the Spirit is an integral part of the church as a member of the body of believers. There is a spiritual unity of all believers in our Lord Jesus Christ. (Ephesians 1:22, 2:19-22; Hebrews 12:23; John 17:11, 20-23). SACRAMENTS Water Baptism: Following faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, the new convert is commanded by the Word of God to be baptized in water in the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19; Acts 2:38; Mark 16:16; Acts 8:12, 36-38; 10:47-48). The Lord's Communion : A unique time of communion in the presence of God when the elements of bread and grape juice (the Body and Blood of the Lord Jesus Christ) are taken in remembrance of Jesus' sacrifice on the Cross (Matthew 26:26-29; I Corinthians 10:16, 11:23-25). The washing of the Saints feet John 13:1-22. Marriage: We believe marriage is defined in the Bible as a covenant, a sacred bond between one man and one woman, instituted by and publicly entered into before God (Matthew 19:4-6). HEALING OF THE SICK Healing of the sick is illustrated in the life and ministry of Jesus, and included in the commission of Jesus to His disciples. It is given as a sign, which is to follow believers. It is also a part of Jesus' work on the Cross and one of the gifts of the Spirit. (Psalm 103:2-3; Isaiah 53:5; Matthew 8:16-17; Mark 16:17-18; Acts 8:6-7; James 5:14-16; I Corinthians 12:9, 28; Romans 11:29). GOD'S WILL FOR PROVISION He says each one is worth it. So we all are what He says we are. It is the Father's will for believers to become whole, healthy and successful in all areas of life. But because of the fall, many may not receive the full benefits of God’s will while on Earth. That fact, though, should never prevent all believers from seeking the full benefits of Christ’s provision in order to better serve others. Spiritual: (John 3:3-11; II Corinthians 5:17-21; Romans 10:9-10). Mental and Emotional: (II Timothy 1:7, 2:11; Philippians 4:7-8; Romans 12:2; Isaiah 26:3). Physical: (Isaiah 53:4, 5; Matthew 8:17; I Peter 2:24). Financial: (Joshua 1:8; Malachi 3:10-11; Luke 6:38; II Corinthians 9:6-10; Deuteronomy 28:1-14; Psalm 34:10, 84:11; Philippians 4:19). RESURRECTION Jesus Christ was physically resurrected from the dead in a glorified body three days after His death on the cross. In addition, both the saved and the lost will be resurrected; they that are saved to the resurrection of life and they that are lost to the resurrection of eternal damnation (Luke 24:16, 36, 39; John 2:19-21, 20:26-28, 21:4; Acts 24:15; I Corinthians 15:42, 44; Philippians 1:21-23, 3:21). HEAVEN Heaven is the eternal dwelling place for all believers in the Gospel of Jesus Christ (Matthew 5:3, 12, 20, 6:20, 19:21, 25:34; John 17:24; II Corinthians 5:1; Hebrews 11:16; I Peter 1:4). HELL After living one life on earth, the unbelievers will be judged by God and sent to Hell where they will be eternally tormented with the Devil and the Fallen Angels (Matthew 25:41; Mark 9:43-48; Hebrews 9:27; Revelation 14:9-11, 20:12-15, 21:8). SECOND COMING Jesus Christ will physically and visibly return to earth for the second time to establish His Kingdom. This will occur at a date undisclosed by the Scriptures (Matthew 24:30, 26:63-64; Acts 1:9-11; I Thessalonians 4:15-17; II Thessalonians 1:7-8; Revelation 1:7). Welcome to the Old Church of God of the New Covenant ** Sean-Eagles-de-Dia-de-an-Nua-Cunant Because we still Believe the same way we have always believed. What We Believe Statement of Faith WE BELIEVE the Holy Bible to be the inspired, infallible, eternal Word of God and man's only guidebook for living. (II Peter 1:19-21, II Timothy 3:16, Revelation 22:18-19, Isaiah 40:8, Matthew 24:35). WE BELIEVE God, the Creator of all things, to be eternally existent, as one God in three persons, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost. He is omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent - attributes that are His alone. (Genesis 1:1, Matthew 3:16-17, 1 John 5:6-8, Luke 3:21-22). WE BELIEVE man is only redeemed by his faith in the shed blood of Jesus Christ and his finished work at Calvary. (Ephesians 2:8, Romans 10:9-10, Ephesians 1: 7, Hebrews 9:7, 1 Peter 1:18-19, Hebrews 9:14, Acts 2:22-24, John 11:25, 1 Corinthians 15:3-17). WE BELIEVE in being baptized in the Holy Ghost, with the evidence of speaking with tongues and other" signs" (Acts 2:4, Acts 10:46, Acts 19:6, Mark 16:16-18) and the "Fruit of the Spirit" (love, joy, peace, etc....Galatians 5:22-23, Matthew 7:20) which empowers one to walk in victory and experience the supernatural. WE BELIEVE in divine healing (Isaiah 53:5, Psalm 103:3, Mark 16:18, 1 Peter 2:24, James 5:16). WE BELIEVE in water baptism by immersion in the name of the Father, and of the son, and of the Holy Ghost. (Matthew 28:19, Romans 6:3-4, Colossians 2:12). Sure we all have hang-ups and issues but what matters most is that in God's eyes each and every person on the planet is worth loving. We find in God's love letter to mankind (The Bible) that there is nothing that can separate us from the love of God (Romans 8:38-39). So right where you are just relax, take in a deep breath, and know that there is nothing you could do that would change that way God feels about you. And on that note, if God feels that strongly about you, we here the Old Church of God Church believe we should love all people as well, too. And we will. Reply
